Why is this free?
The Digital Economy Program is funded by the Government of Alberta to allow this service to be delivered at completely no cost. The program is delivered through a partnership between participating communities in Alberta, the University of Alberta, Business Link, and Digital Main Street.

ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible, businesses must fit the following criteria:

Home-based or commercial business.

Your business needs to be registered in Alberta.

(Indigenous-owned businesses that are not registered in Alberta may still be eligible, please contact the Digital Economy Program Coordinator directly)

Your business has 49 employees or less.

(this includes self-employed business owners with no employees)

Non-profits, charitable trusts and franchises are NOT considered eligible businesses under this program.
